Planning My Trip to New York

In the same way I am fascinated by clothes and the importance of appearance as part of an artist’s brand, I am always looking for make-up that can help complete a look.  The department stores in Shinjuku, like Isetan offer an amazing variety of cosmetics, and I go there not only to buy, but also to study the beauty consultants and how they have made up their faces so that I can gather new ideas, as well.

Another thing I like is that depending on the store one can always find international names of cosmetics and makeup, which means that they will also be available when I am in New York.

In addition to make-up, I am also fond of fragrances, and it is always a real pleasure to go down the aisles of perfumes in order to experience the difference scents.

Along with make-up colors in shadows and lipsticks, scents are wonderful for helping me to get ready for spring.

I’m already making lots of decisions about what I want to wear and how I want to look, not only for concerts, but for dinners, and other events that will be part of my time in New York.  Even when I know that I am just going to be a tourist for the day, making a statement with clothing and make-up is important for me, because feeling my best, for me, has a lot to do with looking my best as well.
